## The essentials

- The La Chinata spray holds the same Manzanilla Cacereña extra virgin olive oil as the classic bottle, cold-pressed within 24 hours in Plasencia (Cáceres).
- No propellant gas: a hand-pressed mechanical atomiser that releases the oil as a fine mist, about 1 g per spray.
- The spray is for measuring and greasing: fried eggs, roast vegetables, salads.
- To taste the oil itself, the bottle still wins: bread with oil, paella, a raw drizzle.

## What to choose for what you cook

Tap a card: the right move for each use.

### How it works

A bottle with a mechanical atomiser: hand pressure, no gas. Press the top and the oil comes out as a fine mist.

**Inside the bottle**
The same Manzanilla Cacereña extra virgin oil sold in the classic bottle, acidity below 0.3°.

### Fried eggs

The pan is evenly greased, with no excess pooling at the bottom. The white sets cleanly, the yolk stays runny.

**Verdict**
Spray. About 1 g of oil instead of 10.

### Roast vegetables

Courgettes, peppers: the surface is evenly coated, without a tray swimming in oil.

**Verdict**
Spray.

### Salads

Rocket and parmesan, three sprays, a dash of sherry vinegar on top, sea salt flakes.

**Verdict**
Spray.

### Paella

The spray is for measuring and greasing, not for flavouring.

**Verdict**
Bottle.

### Bread with oil

A rebanada of warm bread, sea salt flakes, a drizzle of raw oil: this is where the classic bottle belongs.

**Verdict**
Bottle.

> The spray for every day, the bottle for flavour.

## Do you have the right touch?

Four questions, the answers are in the article.

1. What is inside the La Chinata spray?
   - The same Manzanilla Cacereña extra virgin oil as in the bottle
   - The only difference from the bottle is the container: no propellant gas, a mechanical pump.

2. How much oil comes out with each spray?
   - About 1 g
   - For fried eggs one spray is enough: about 1 g of oil instead of 10.

3. What does Hector never use the spray for?
   - Paella
   - The spray measures and greases, but it is poor at flavouring. For paella and bread with oil, use the bottle.

4. How long does a 200 ml bottle last with daily use?
   - One to two months
   - About 200 sprays per bottle: one to two months of regular daily use.

## Article

Olive oil spray was long a suspect product — often a low-grade oil in a butane aerosol can, sold as "convenient". La Chinata has completely reinvented the format. Their spray contains genuine extra virgin olive oil of the Manzanilla Cacereña variety, with no propellant gas and no additives. The bottle works with a simple mechanical pump. And above all, it doses to the gram.

Here is why olive oil spray has become, within a few months, one of our best-selling products.

## From the almazara to the bottle — the same oil, simply sprayed

The myth to dismantle: "spray oil = low-grade oil". Not true for La Chinata. The contents of the bottle are **exactly the same Manzanilla Cacereña extra virgin oil as the one sold in a classic bottle**. Cold-pressed within 24 hours of picking, in Plasencia (Cáceres), Extremadura. Acidity below 0.3°.

The only difference is the container. Instead of a classic bottle, it is a bottle with a mechanical atomiser (hand pressure, no gas). You press the top and the oil comes out as a fine mist.

## Three uses where the spray makes all the difference

- **Fried eggs.** A single spray in the pan is enough to grease it evenly. No more excess at the bottom, no more egg floating in 5 mm of oil. The result: the white sets cleanly, the yolk stays runny, and you have used perhaps 1 g of oil instead of 10.

- **Roast vegetables.** Rather than pouring oil by guesswork over courgettes or peppers and ending up with a flooded dish, you spray. The surface of the vegetables is evenly coated, and they brown instead of steaming in their own moisture.

- **Salads.** Three sprays over a rocket and parmesan salad, a dash of sherry vinegar on top, flaky sea salt. No more measuring with a spoon.

Where I never use it

For paella, never spray. For dipping bread, never either. The spray is brilliant for dosing and greasing, but poor for flavouring. When you want to taste the oil itself — a rebanada of warm bread, flaky sea salt, a drizzle of raw oil — the classic bottle is the one to reach for. The spray is the everyday tool: morning cooking, quick vegetables, controlled dosing.

## The quality / quantity ratio

~1 g

~200×

In practice: a bottle lasts 1 to 2 months with regular daily use. Value for money is better than with a classic oil, because you consistently use less. And the aromatic profile remains that of a quality extra virgin oil — Manzanilla Cacereña, sweet and mild, yellow with green glints, with an aroma of ripe fruit.

## The ecology of the container

A pump mechanism, no propellant gas: compared with a classic butane spray, it is another world. No aerosol can, just the pressure of your hand.

## What to remember

La Chinata olive oil spray is not a gadget — it is a smart serving format for a premium oil. Keep it next to the salt and pepper, for morning fried eggs, evening vegetables, everyday salads. For Sunday bread-dipping and paellas, keep using the 500 ml bottle. Both have their place in the kitchen.
