Stuffed chipirones in ink – 120 ml tin
House : Conservas Luliña — Galicia — made around the ría de Arousa
A whole dish inside a tin. Chipirones — small squid — arrive stuffed and stewed in a black sauce built on onion, tomato paste and wine. Open it, tip it onto toasted bread or beside plain white rice, and there is nothing to cook. The sauce is dense and faintly sweet from the tomato; the ink gives it depth.
Stuffed squid, sunflower oil, onion, tomato paste, wine, salt, cuttlefish ink (1%), rice flour and spices. 120 ml tin, 111 g net, 72 g drained. For every tin sold, 0.15 € goes to the Fundación Ecomar. Contains molluscs. Gluten free; may contain traces of fish and crustaceans.
