House : Antonio Anaut — Tafalla (Navarre) · since 1939
The same round shortbread that crumbles as you bite, with natural lemon flavouring: the brightest of the three we chose. The box is yellow, the tissue paper yellow-striped, and each polvorón unwraps like a sweet.
Origin
Antonio Anaut, in Tafalla, in the heart of Navarre. On the box, a date: “Obrador desde 1939”. The bakery was born in Pitillas and moved a short distance, to Tafalla, in 2016, without ever leaving the Zona Media of Navarre. Polvorones wrapped one by one in tissue paper, from a house that carries the Reyno Gourmet seal, the quality mark for products from Navarre. Product of Spain.

Antonio Anaut
The polvorón from Navarre, a bakery since 1939.
The polvorón is the shortbread Spain puts on the table at Christmas: round, small enough to hold in your hand, and it crumbles at the first bite — polvo means dust. Antonio Anaut's come from Navarre.
