Almazara Terraverne
The altitude oil from Teba, at 555 metres.

A house, a region
Almazara Terraverne (Terraverne 2020, S.L.) is an oil mill located in Teba, in the province of Málaga, in the heart of the Guadalteba comarca — in Andalusia. The project, tied to the company created in 2020, saw the mill begin operating in late 2021.
The olives are harvested between Teba, Campillos and Almargen, at 555 metres of altitude — the altitude that gives the premium “555” range, “the altitude oil”, its name.
How they work
The 555 Hojiblanca is a 100 % Hojiblanca single-variety oil, a variety native to central Andalusia. Early October harvest, green olives, mechanical picking.
Cold extraction, paste at 24-25 °C, with no added water; storage in stainless-steel tanks. Acidity below 0.2° (0.13 to 0.15 depending on the batch).

Why we chose them
An intensely fruity and herbaceous profile — freshly cut grass, green apple, almond — with medium to high pungency.
Winner of the 22nd Best EVOO Awards of the province of Málaga (Diputación, 2023) in medium green fruities, and finalist of the IOC's Mario Solinas Award (small producers).
