Zamburiñas in vieira sauce – 120 ml tin
House : Conservas Luliña — Galicia — made around the ría de Arousa
The zamburiña is the scallop's small cousin: a one-bite mollusc, the kind you eat with a spoon and no ceremony. Vieira sauce is made with tomato, wine vinegar, bay leaf and spices — bright and spiced, the kind you chase around the tin with bread. These zamburiñas carry the Galician pescadeRías seal.
Zamburiñas (Chlamys opercularis, Aequipecten opercularis), sunflower oil, tomato, wine vinegar, bay leaf and spices. 120 ml tin, 110 g net, 60 g drained. For every tin sold, 0.15 € goes to the Fundación Ecomar. Contains molluscs. Gluten free; may contain traces of fish and crustaceans.

Why we chose them: The zamburiña, a small cousin of the scallop, is eaten in a single bite. Luliña, a Galician brand making its tinned seafood the traditional way near the Ría de Arousa, serves it in vieira sauce – tomato, wine vinegar, bay leaf and spices – the kind you mop up with bread to the last drop.
